Statement: I couched the wet sheets onto a fern shaped placemat(6). I cut them up, colored them and arranged them on kapa and hung them from a half piece of bamboo.
I have lived in Hawaii for 55 years and making paper for 30. The (FDH)conferences were a lifeline and inspiration. I have a Reina Beater and teach at the Manoa Heritage Center and The Downtown Art Center.
