Statement: Late last year I visited the Barnes museum in Philadelphia. During this visit I looked anew at the art work which I had seen countless times. This time I was drawn to groupings of figures by artists in both painting and sculpture. These images are the result of that visit.
Pat Owens is an artist working out of her studio in North Wales, PA. She is a graduate of Avila College and the Kansas City Art Institute, both in Kansas City Missouri. She is a recipient of a glass fellowship at the Creative Glass Center in Glassboro, N.J.
